Biography

Tia performs the following types of valuation and economic analysis assignments: business and stock valuations; forensic analyses; estate and gift planning valuations; gift tax valuations; fairness opinions; post- acquisition purchase price allocations; employee stock ownership plan (“ESOP”) valuations; intangible asset valuations, including software, trade name/trademark, workforce, and customer relationships; economic damages calculations; economic obsolescence analyses; ad valorem property tax valuations; marital dissolution valuations; valuation of fractional ownership interests in businesses; property tax compliance; and shareholder dissension and oppression valuations.

She performs these valuations for the following types of business entities and securities: closely held corporation business enterprises, closely held corporation noncontrolling ownership interests, various classes of common and preferred stock, general and limited partnership interests, professional service corporations, professional practices, and limited liability companies.

Tia has performed these valuations for clients in the following industries, among others: agriculture, banking, building materials, electric distribution, fisheries, forest products, grocery stores, hair salons, health care, meat processing, oil and gas, real estate holding companies, renewable energy, retailing, sawmills, software, and telecommunication.
